Hi
Good day.
Since I got my SLK more than a month now, I have decided to do what I can to enhance it.

One of the problem was the headlight have water leak into it.
Problem solved by removing it completely & use silicone glue.
Then at the same time I included the glow LED light on the top of the headlight.
It will be 'ON" when headlights are switched on. (white color)
Also it will change to blinking amber when the signal is turn on.
At the same time I include the door ghost light projecting the Merc logo.

Where did you get the glow LED light from?... looks like an interesting option for use as a daytime running light :D

Hi
Good day

I forgot to add that this glow LED light will be amazingly great for your BLACK SLK.
All other color will not be as amazingly great as BLACK or very dark colored car.

I have seen this installed on some Black colored cars. > absolutely great.!!

Thank you & have a nice day

i love these but they mention opening up the head light and re sealing........... not sure I'd want to do that as seems a pretty major expense if something goes wrong
It would also be great if these plugged straight into the wiring rather than having to (apparently) cut in to the loom - I'm too old for that sort of stuff

Hi
Good day.

Please look carefully in my attached pictures.

It is just simply stick with double-sided tape on to the headlights.
The wires are just simply connected to the existing wires by splicing.
========================
If you really want to have it better then you have to remove the headlight lenses & install inside the headlights.
After that you have to re seal it back.
Honestly, I won't advise to do that because to remove the lenses, you have to literally "bake" the headlights until it reaches the melting point temperature of the original glue.
Then literally, physical pull the lenses apart from it casing.
If you get it right, then it is OK but otherwise you could melt the plastic casing & lenses.
There are certain auto shops that do this BUT they DO NOT guarantee or warranty anything as stated by them.

There could be water leak or the whole casing get warped (distorted)
=================================

Thank you & have a nice day.
