Well, I'm happy but sad. My lovely SLK 350 has gone, and now I'm in the ranks of the AMG dudes...I have to say, that driving it back from London (England) to the south coast, put a smile on my face for over a hundred miles. Even had a slight altercation with a Porsche Carrera 4 on the way home. I cannot believe the way the 7G box changes down so much differently to the 7G 350. The handling and that big "V8" and guess what? My smile overcame any difference values in fuel consumption. Hey, we only live once, right? PS: Love the leather seats, lol...:nerd:

Congrats! and I get the first to say

wait for it

First please update your vehicle (year?: 1996-2016, model?: 32, 200, 230, 250, 280, 300,320,350,55) in your profile as it helps the members answer your questions which usually are based on that information if you haven’t. This takes about 30 seconds to do.
Follow exactly to update: ‘Usercp’ at the top of page, then ‘edit your details’ on the left side, ‘additional information’ near the bottom, edit your ‘vehicle’. Info in your garage does not update your profile.

Congratulations.
Got SmartTop? Midi antenna? Lexan rear draught stop?
I kinda like the tail pipes to be black and sooty on the inside and clean and slightly shiny on the outside.

Already done, I've been outside all day with my wire wool on the pipes, fitting my shorty antenna, G paddles and cleaning the engine bay. Just having a couple of beers now with my feet up.....
