Dear all,
This is my first post on a forum, so I'm quite excited to write some introduction here.
I've a 2005 R171 350, which I bought 10 years ago, and I'm still in love of it.
Last summer I had to have a shock absorber replaced, and that was what made me start looking, investigating and I ended up ordering the sports suspension option.
After that I paid the EPC subscription to find out the SA codes not yet installed in my car and the corresponding part numbers, and time to time I am doing the upgrades myself. I always buy original equipment, and I pay the WIS subscription to access the operating procedures for assembling and disassembling. The only thing I'm not able (and I do not want to run into) is coding, as it seems you need to have some expensive subscriptions to get and download the control unit softwares, etc. For this I go to an authorised Mercedes workshop.
List of things I've retroffited (or in progress):
  • Tire pressure warning
  • Comfort closing (operating the rooftop from the key)
  • Retractable mirrors
  • Autodimming mirrors
  • Garage door opener
  • Rain sensor
  • Phone preinstallation
  • Comand
  • High-premium sound system
  • Thermotronic
  • Front AMG-style bumper
So far so good, except for I'm desperatelly trying to find the AMG exhaust system, with no success so far. It looks impossible. Mercedes is saying is out of stock, I've tried with the relevant European resellers, but not in stock and they end up asking Mercedes (for which I know it's no longer available).
In order to give you some details, the AMG exhaust system accessory which goes for the six cylinders (280 and my 350) is the B66032009. The 200 and the 55 do have other references as the diameter of the inner pipes are different.
So no success finding the B66032009, or neither with the individual references for those mufflers (left A1714900701 and right A1714900801). The rest of the kit is not relevant, and the hose clamps are available.
So, I thing as an introduction should be more than enough ... and if anyone knows how to get this very last one in Earth accessory, you will make me very happy. I can't afford a 55 or 43 for the moment, and that would be the closest to AMG I can get .
Many thanks in advance,

Sorry, can't help you find that part, other than it's epc number.

If you don't find one try quicksilver, eisenmann or one of the other after market suppliers.
There are some great systems out there with performance built in.
