Finally! This weekend I experience the first warm, sunny day since I bought my SLK, so took the girl out to stretch her legs on an all day drive with the top down. Ahhhh...

On the way back, I got 'er washed and snapped some pics!

Life is good!

Yes, and no... it's a local hand-wash detailer near me.
you should do it only by yourself :D It is not a large car.
you will then learn and know every inch of your car.

Yes, I know... but I live in a high-rise condominium and, as such, don't have the facilities to do it myself, so I have to rely on others. The place I take it does high-end cars all day long... Ferraris, Lambos, Bentleys... you name it, so they at least know what they're doing.

Gotta do what you gotta do.

A day too early--I just drove mine back from the dealership with the top down after its 10,000 Mile (A) service. Today was even a better day than yesterday here in Atlanta, and the experience after all the days of inclement weather was reminiscent of the first top-down days many years ago as the up-state NY winters gave way to spring. Wonderful! And the dealership (of course) washed the car for me.

Nice colour(color) combination & in the UK we see few non-AMG bodykitted versions. Presume you added the rear spoiler & clear Perspex windbreaker. You're lucky not having to clutter the front end with a number plate.

Thanks! I believe the rear spoiler was part of the "Sport" package, but yea, I added the "Windrestrictor".

GA is one of the states without a front-plate requirement. The car originally came with a front-plate holder, which I immediately removed (another story, in another thread).
Looking good !!!! ENJOY

HA! Whoops... I meant, of course, Windrestrictor!

On an unrelated note, have you thought about changing the company name? >:D
Back in Florida for the cold months. We love driving our SLK 320 and almost always with the top down! I agree with Jeff, wash by hand, yourself, of course you have to have the resources. A hand wash by those who do "high end" autos is a good second choice. Enjoy, and remember, it is all about the ride!!!!....JJ
