Does anyone know where I can find the under the dash trim for 98 Slk 230? Or a way to fix it. It has a lot of broken clips where the screws do in. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

You can find your VIN on the vehicles documents, or at the bottom of the windscreen (outside).

Look at windscreen.
See the blacked out part at the bottom?
There is a small portion that is not black and your vin can be seen there.

No.

See the black underneath what you took?

Follow that along and you will find a small and clear portion.

Vin is there.
I don't see what you describe. There's this on the door.

It's not worth trying to fix if you have broken tabs, trust me. Especially where you live. These parts were a poor design for Mercedes because of the material. The plastic is only good for about 10 yrs unless you bought the car and pretty much kept it in the garage. Do yourself a favor and just replace it.

I found this one just doing a quick search.

It's blue, don't let that concern you. Just go to Viponds and buy the Anthracite paint.

tautflex benz

I just replaced all my interior dash pieces to include the center console. I got a light grey lower, grey instrument, red armrest console and beige glovebox. 3 coats of Anthracite 221 and it looks brand spankin' new!!

After doing some digging with your VIN, the code for your interior when ordering from Viponds is Anthracite 221A. :nerd:
