Me vs my 32 yr old son on my SLK320

I wish to keep my 2001 SLK 320 as is.It was a one owner and is in very good condition. My son thinks I should add a HP exhaust system, cold air intake.I tell him I should leave it alone because I like the way it sounds and it has lot's of power for me.I am 63 and have owned some fast cars and I think this little car is very peppy as is plus I tell him if he keeps it as is after I am gone the value will go up and if I made the mods he wants then the value would go down. What do you think?I keep this car under cover indoors and really enjoy driving it and blowing away a lot of young boys at stop lights in their BMW's,Honda's,Toyota's and watch their face when up the road I am just doing the speed limit and they pass me looking at me.A few got caught for speeding up the road. And everyone always wants to pass me.
So what would you do?

Keep as is, and tell him to go get his own toy at 32 big enough and old enough.

Tell him to buy his own!
Father and son SLKs, one stock, one with the mods, sounds like fun.

Looks like a trend as I'm in agreement to keep as is.
We bought our car jointly and the better half wants to keep it as is, I want to upgrade it.
Her name's on the reg docs so I've gone with her decision.

Some point in the future I'll get one wholly owned by myself (we split finances on the original).
The new one will probably get upgrades, but little that couldn't be returned to original state easily.

Your way, he gets to know the car and can save for his own which he can do as he wants with.
