I am not much of a new member as I have joined some years ago, I am revitalizing my membership.
Greetings to all from sunny Malta (EU).
I am now 70 years old and counting, I can still get in the car without complaining.I have a 2005 SLK200 compressor. The colour is Iridium silver with red leather seats.
Latest news about my car:
I have some water leakage from one of the windows and I have used the NEXTZETT which I found suggested in one of the threads, where the user said it works fine. Now I am waiting for the rains to come to see for myself.

I have had the bumper fixed recently as it was split at the bottom when parking head on to a pavement (now I am parking in reverse). My panel beater made a very good job of it and am very happy with the result .

Now I am having fitted a reverse and front camera. The front camera is only needed to see the white line of the parking box, as our wardens are very keen to give one a ticket if you are not parked within the markers. the reverse camera, I want it because I have a Volvo XC60 with a reverse camera and when I am in the SLK I just keep looking at the radio even though I have the parking sensors whining.

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
If you wish to become PM (Private Message) capable, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM.
Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.

Welcome from Wirral, England.

First please update your vehicle
(year?: 1996-2017)
in your profile as it helps the members answer your questions which usually are based on that information.
This takes about 30 seconds to do.

Follow exactly to update:
‘Usercp’ at the top of page,
then ‘edit your details’ on the left side,
‘additional information’ near the bottom,
edit your ‘location’ and ‘vehicle’.
Info in your garage does not update your profile.

The reason that we ask you to update vehicle/location details
is to save repeating the same information every time that you ask a question.

Also, this site is truly worldwide. That can matter when you ask for help and information.

Are you looking for a bonnet, or a hood, a boot, or a trunk? Makes a difference.

Driving on the left, or the right?

We have a free to enter monthly competition.
Entry is normally open from the 1st to the 15th of every month. You simply post a reply with 3 photos.
After the 15th we usually open a poll for members to vote on their favourite.
Here's the main thread:
New members are welcome to enter (and they win too!).

Voting is open for the 2018 March Ride of The Month.
PLEASE NOTE :- Voting closes on 31st March.

Really useful links (thanks to ixions cataloguing) Includes diy videos.

A brief guide to the forum and how to get the best from it:

Thank you for the invitation but I live very far away across the ocean in Malta (EU) in the middle of the Mediterranean.

Enjoy your drive
