Yes the connection is not designed for clamps, official remedy is to replace (they are rather inexpensive). Could try with a clamp but need to get very small diameter and use very little pressure as not to break the connection.

I'm not sure if it's causing your flashing fuel light but periodic inspection and renewal of vacuum lines won't make it any worse. And you might get lucky.

Could have a blocked breather or something causing positive pressure ?

I always clean oil off those connectors and tube with brake cleaner, then I superglue one side and use cable tie on the other, make sure the Rubber Tube isn't loose, cut a 10mm piece off the end or replace if there isn't enough margin for cutting ;)

Ok so the clear tubing was a no go just sucked flat. Again what is the box this yellow comes from for?
