I have a 1999 slk230 and want to fit day running lights in the UK
I`ve tried to locate a live feed when the ignition is turned on but am failing badly.
I`m 66 disabled but not stupid and don`t want a hole in my bulkhead.
Can someone please help.
Regards and HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all

Ok..............I`ve completed what I had to do. For other members it was very easy.
The live ignition feed is on the second 8mm terminal underneath the fuse box. I connected with a fork terminal ran the lead down the nearside of the engine compartment and joined to the two positive leads on the daytime driving lights. The earth lead was connected to an existing bolt near the engine strut but not on it. (there`s plenty there to connect to).
I super glued the light fittings as near as I could to the fog lights.
Next is Angel eyes.
Thanks all............I hope this helps others.
Merry Christmas.
