Alright, here's my "new member" post. I'm Steve, I live in the Seattle area, and I have a '13 SLK250. I bought a lease return last year with only 16K miles on it as I needed a newer commuter car. Up to 25K miles now, and just changed the oil yesterday (finally!) I've always done my own maintenance, but could not find any info anywhere on this car, so it was a learning experience (took over an hour - I even had to make sure I was jacking it up properly..:surprise:
Happy it is still under warranty, as the roof was leaking. Apparently this is common, but I think MB of Seattle got it fixed (so far so good!)
I'm a bit of a car guy - My garage holds a '66 Datsun roadster, an '85 Mazda RX-7 GSLSE (1st gen) that my mom bought brand new, two Suzuki LJ10's (think 25 years before the Samurai), a Suzuki LJ81 (similar, but a pickup with fold down sides), an '86 LWB Samurai, and my wife's '08 Lexus IS250 that we bought new in Oct. '07, and have put 200K miles on. My website is lj10.com, for info on the old Suzukis.
