Hello there!!! I am new member here but i've been looking around a while now.

I am trying to find a limited slip diff (preferably a 1.5 way) for my slk 200, but I've only managed to find some for the 350 and the 55.

The reason i want to put one is cause i am thinking to turbo my car and use it as a drift car but the standard open diff is just useless (i find myself trying to drift in the wet with only one wheel spinning and is just extremely annoying)

So if anyone have something in mind please let me know

thanks in advance

Contact Quaife:
Quaife - Quaife
If anyone makes one, they will.
An lsd might be available but it will not be designated as a'200', rather you need to tell them which gearbox and final drive you have.
I do not know if the final drive for a 200 is the same as a 350 or not, but if it is, then you should be able to use the '350' type. Quaife will know - they are the dogs b--cks when it comes to lsd...

The 350 and 55 have a bigger differential housing so the lsd doesn't fit in the 200.
I was thinking about getting a quote from Quaife but if they can make one is gonna be custom and it's gonna cost, that's why i am asking if anyone have done a similar mod with an existing diff.
Thanks for the help this community is really helpful and friendly compered to any other forum i've been and I'm so happy being a member of it  !!

OK, if you have established that the housing on a 200 is different to the 350 and Quaife do not make one as stock, then yes, expensive - many many thousands of Euros I think.
It would not surprise me that they do not make one as the 200 is not a power plant generally attributed to motorsport...

Hmmm...makes me wonder what diff housing I have in my 280. I would guess the same as the 350 and 55, since it's from the same M272/273 family and power isn't that much less than the 350.
