Well after seeing all these Meets everyone is having across the country and all the great friendships gained, I was thinking I'd like to be a part of one but seems like this area is kinda quiet!

Now I'm no organizer by any means, but just trying to get the ball rolling!!

I think a nice FALL day would be awesome for some top down driving thru the hills of CT up to Limerock Park. Mid October would be ideal for great pics with the fall foliage colors at their peak!!

I live in CT close to the NY border and was thinking we could all meet at the DANBURY FAIR MALL in the morning and go about our days activities from there!

Here is a tentative "mock-up" of the day

8:00-9:00 AM -Arrive at the DANBURY FAIR MALL

9:00-10:30 AM - Head into Mall Food court get some breakfast and get to know everyone better.

10:30 AM - Hit the road for KENT FALLS STATE PARK. This is about 45 minutes from the Mall and starts the real scenic part of the day off well!!

11:30 AM - Arrive at KENT FALLS STATE PARK. A good hour is needed for those who wish to walk up to the top of the falls (paved walking path).

1:00 PM - Depart and head for LIMEROCK PARK. They have club racing going on every weekend in October and admission is usually free, but think we need to pay for parking. Will check

1:30 PM Arrive at LIMEROCK PARK. I figure spend a couple hours there to enjoy the facilities and to watch some racing

3:30- 4:00 PM - DEPART LIMEROCK PARK and head back to the DANBURY FAIR MALL to get some dinner at THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY.

5:00 -5:30 PM Arrive at DANBURY FAIR MALL and sit down for a nice meal!

From there, we can all depart as we need too.

Here are a few links to the above locations:

Hmmm, I'm in Shelton (Fairfield County) down nearer the coast. About a 1/2 hour from Danbury. Might be up for a fall day exploring Litchfield County like that.

Although I live in VT, I am from Ridgefield and I bought my first SLK in Danbury a month ago.
I miss driving on the curvy roads of Ridgefield. I bet I could not drive as I did 33 years ago on those back roads.

Vermont folliage

I just came across this for those who like to take Sunday drives north.
These are beautiful areas to drive through. I am looking forward to participating in a 5k in Waitsfield in two weeks. I am doing it just to enjoy the scenery.

Congratulations to Woodstock, Stowe, Manchester, and Waitsfield for top honors as top ten New England Fall foliage destinations according to TripAdvisor. http://www.vermontbiz.com/news/september/tripadvisor-names-top-10-destinations-view-fall-foliage-new-england
