Hi all,

Please help!

I've bought two sets of LED bulbs for my licence plate and neither worked.

1st set didn't have built in resistor so I bought a new set and these where too small and slightly too wide even though ebay and the seller indicated it should fit my car no problems. (waiting to hear back from 2nd seller).

Here is the link to the 2nd set:
2x High Power COB LED C5W 239 272 Bulb 6W Error Free Number Plate Light Mercedes | eBay

Can anyone please recommend me a working set for my car?:crying:

Oh dear, that's the 3rd pair of LED bulbs that don't fit/work for my car.

To me at least, it seems that it's impossible to locate:

39mm LED festoon licence plate bulbs with load resistor built in:crying:
Someone please prove me wrong!

Thanks jbanks for the link, quick question. They do look very similar to the 2nd pair I purchased but at 36mm they came up short when placing them in between the two plastic lugs (plastic glass unit that you pop out when you unscrew the 2 screws). How did you get around them being slightly too short?

i see the problem

you pop them into the clips, not in the plastic glass covers.
the plastic holders just put pressure on the clips when secured with the screws :D :D
