The car is a 99 SLK230 with 120k on it. I recently re-acquired it from my ex and she is... lacking... in the care department.

So, I parked it in my barn while I was working on the top actuators and I saw a huge puddle under the car one morning. I lifted up the car, got under, cleaned it all up and tried to find the leak. It looked like the pan gasket so I replaced it as well as the filter. The next day, another huge puddle, so I tried to find the leak. It looked like it was the electrical connection spacer, so replaced it following directions from a very good write up I read here.

I drove the car about an hour up to Tampa with no problems, then left quite a few hours later for Orlando. About 15 minutes later, massive amounts of smoke from trans fluid all over the exhaust, stopped and it is steadily streaming onto the ground. It looks like it is coming from that electrical connection spacer even though I cleaned the trans very well and have re-installed it twice now. It also looks like it is coming from somewhere above that spacer though, but I have no idea where as I can't see it. What else could be leaking? I do know it isn't from that breather.
