Wednesday 11/21 no work and 65F. Couldn't resist a short top down road trip around Lawrence County. Ended up at George Field...our local WW2 era general aviation airport. The laser straight glass smooth approach road is known as "the place" to test your motorcar!

Hope you like the pictures. Notice the combine cutting the last fall acreage. Winter is sadly soon upon us! I'm always thrilled by the SLK driving experience. What a very nice balance of power, precision, beauty....I could go on and on! Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Nice pictures Gregg, but . .

Enquiring minds want to know. How fast did you take her?

Don't worry. I won't tell anyone. :)

I think he's ignoring me. :)

Then again his wife may spend time on this forum. I remember the sinking feeling when a friend of mine asked me as I was getting in my SLK (with my wife) "So just how fast have you taken her?". The answer of "over a ton" cost me a lot when I got home. :biglaugh:

Well.......it does the spirit good to break the ton now and then. 130mph is puckerville for me although Challenge seems to have plenty more to give.
