A friend of mine said that a clk amg speeding on Monza circuit :flag:, after only two laps, have to take a break (15 min) at pit stop due the hot temperature of the brakes.
The only "stock" Benz that have any problems speeding on a circuit are the Kleemann.
He was joking or it's real ?
I've never had the opportunity to take a tour wiv a sporty car on a circuit...so i am asking to you all R)

The swept area per ton number on the SLK55 brakes is much better than the same figure on the CLK55. I've never driven a CLK on a track but I've tracked the SLK55 many times. In my opinion, these are the best brakes of any stock vechicle I've ever driven. I've never experienced any fade although I must add that about 30 minutes of intense driving is about the most I've ever tried. I've found that the Benz brakes are a huge advantage against BMW's and others. If you've look at some of the vids I've posted, you'll see what I mean.
