Had to do a supermarket run on my own.

On the way home there was a little 'play'.

A Porsche, who was just being nippy like me.
Courtesy both ways (often the way with those folks).

A Merc 350, simple zap.
However, a BM got in the way and got upset that he was not the fastest car on the road.
He nearly launched into me a set of lights.

Next set, two lanes>:D
I pull into lane one, giving him the shot at two, which he takes.
Then he pulls up with the front of his car level with the rear of my door.
The blind spot as we bikers call it.
I know these lights well, so I think 'OK, If he wants to be a thicko I'll let him go'.
So I only creep forward on the change.
Pillock wheel spun so much that I got bored.
Burnt him good up to legal limit.
Was 90% sure he wasn't unmarked, the spin made that 200%.

Try as he could he could not get near and I got to stay legal.

That's the quick.

Now the slow.
In a 30 limit, approaching lights.
On solid amber and heading for red so I stop (Amber means stop in the UK).
Red 4x4 nearly tail ends me, but for the fact that I saw it develop behind and rolled on a yard, or so.
He and his wife glare at me. She nearly nutted the windscreen.
He obviously thought a sports car automatically bursts the lights and he would follow.
By which time they would be solid red on entrance!
I turn left just after, he sped past me as if that scored a point.

I like speed, love it even.
But time and place.

Now to fit a Smart Rapier system.
Then, when the boot raises, I can have an option to deploy an alternative deterrent

I had a similar experience with a Golf "R" (310 hp turbo 4wd) some weeks ago. Normally these drivers play with what they see. Not any more:D

Just before I winter storaged my car, I had a draw with a brand new M3 Coupe thru a tunnel tube. After passing (leagal speed, of course) he changed lane and braked to see what was behind and chasing him - a 12 year old car:D

BMW doesn't make a FWD vehicle... except for the Mini Cooper that is.

Little knowledge of them, but only his front wheels looked to be spinning.
Hence the assumption front wheel drive.
I would expect an AWD to push through front wheel spin, but again I have no experience with them.
