Is there an alternative to Volico paint for the interior?

Probably getting ahead of myself, but i think i will need to do some touching up to the centre console.

From all the posts i have seen, everyone refers to Volico paint in Germany but have seen a few posts on here where the colour match hasn't been great.
Looking on their website, not only is the paint quite expensive, it seems they only do spray cans as well - i was hoping for the liquid paint so i could touch up in-situ first.

So my question is whether anyone has found a decent alternative to the Volico paint? there seems to be a few leather paints on the market, but these appear to be designed for seats rather than the plastic consoles.

Thanks in advance

One thing to remember, colour match is for as new paint.
Our car paints all tire with age.

These folk may know of alternatives (they exist, but not as common).

And these were looking promising until you read the reviews from an actual R170 owner:

Can't help much, I am afraid!

When I had mine off the car I was 10 000% sure I will not make them plastics beige/cream....whoever see them whatever.

I have shared this profile before - Log into Facebook have not been a customer, however he gave me few points and he is participant (or at least was) of the r170 FB group. He is not an a_____e and it will not hurt to ask for ideas, suggestions.

My seats condition isn't good and I am not near that point yet, however keeping an eye on the forum for all related!

Further into the rabbit hole, the doors of mine are 2 toned (like the seats) and they are with 2 different materials - leather on the top half and poly-something, faux leather if you wish, on the bottom part - almost matching colors for me.
Now the driver's side door area - right elbow of mine is getting "scrubbed out" and the pattern is fading. Like you can't see the small windings, but smooth surface.
Same applies for the between the seats "storage" compartment lid (where my left elbow is positioned). I do avoid working or four knees and getting in the car for a long drive (that requires elbows on the pointed areas) but I can not wash every jacket/top clothing of mine after each use, so dirt is accumulated on these spots and of course it requires cleaning!
The cleaning - usually wet wipes circling motions no pressure helps, but it is inevitable to push a bit to clean it well.

@M4rCu5 yellow and green? NAH, Blue and Yellow :) YEAH.

I would recommend SEM auto paints since they can be color matched. If you are trying to paint plastic, I have personally used their Color Coat product line to repaint all of the interior plastics in my mustang. It is a flexible paint designed for interiors and it is a quality product. Four years without any signs of cracking or chipping from my application of the product. Their Classic Coat products are designed for leather/vinyl but personally I would use a dye if I was restoring a leather (much more permanent.) You will want to use a micro brush as well if you are going to be applying the paint by hand for minor touch ups.

The Volico web site does indeed only show spray cans for some reason. Touch up bottles are still available I believe on eBay. I bought one originally and it was a good match (oyster), but it was a waste of time really. The existing paint would scratch off very easily and I re-did the lot using spray cans colour matched by a local paint supplier. It's acrylic paint, easy to apply and after 4 years or is still looking great. Not the original soft touch finish of course. Removing the old paint was rediculously easy. Basically water and a hard brush. There are several threads on repainting.

I had good luck with this product on my Oyster interior, dash and console. Make sure you scuff up the plastic after removing the original paint and use a plastic primer first. Custom VIN Matched Leather Dye — Seat Doctors

Viponds was my go to when I needed touch up for my charcoal interior
Good color match and very easy to apply with foam applicator.

When I got my SLK back twenty years later and it needed a full re-do, i was going to go Viponds again but once i saw how easily the original factory finish came off in a tub of warm water, I decided I never wanted to do this again and went the SEM Classic Coat route. I've used various SEM products on other vehicles and always amazed how nice it is for an aerosol can product. Color was a close match—just a touch lighter.

Forgot to add that i had initially hemmed and hawed whether i was "diluting" the original character of the car without that rubberized surface feel and cheapening it (yes, i can be that guy) . But it doesn't looks any different (grain shows through a little more) and you wouldn't know that it's not factory outside of a) it's not peeling anymore and b) it's not tacky or sticky anymore.
