I'm a new owner of a 2007 SLK280. It doesn't have the Command system and I would like to know if anyone has advise on installing an adapter kit which would allow me to listen to my music using my iPhone. I'm not fussed about having the phone application, but the music would be nice. Thanks in advance

Welcome from NE England. Do a search on the forum for Dension Gateway 500. That will do exactly what you are after.

Meggieb,

Welcome to the World’s Premier Mercedes-Benz SLK Community from Valrico, Florida!

Please update your location/vehicle (model and year) in your profile as it helps the members answer your questions which usually are based on that information.
‘Usercp’ at the top left of page, then ‘edit your details’ on the left side, ‘additional information’ near the bottom, edit your ‘location’ and ‘vehicle’.

If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
In addition, if you haven’t, please post your question in the appropriate discussion forum for a quicker response. Be patient and a knowledgeable member or guest will address your question.
If you wish to PM (Private Message) someone, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM.

Thank you,
Jeff

Welcome from southern California. Do you intend to keep the current head unit? If yes, then Woolly's suggestion is prolly the best way.

Welcome, and what Woolly said! Personally, I think if I had an A20 head, I'd be seriously considering replacing it with an aftermarket head....

Hook up the factory AUX connector in the glove box, factory iPod interface which displays in the center of the speedo and utilizes the steering wheel controls, several options from incartronincs.com, new head unit, FM transmitter... there's plenty of options.
