Hey guys,
My name is Christy Crispino, I own a 2007 SLK350 that I picked up from a family who let it set for 2 years while their kid was in college. Of course we have some gasket dry rotting issues that I have changed out and a couple of other minor plugs in the back of the motor that were like 3.00 which was causing a minor drip of oil on my exhaust. Thankfully it was not the heads.
Anyway, I am now changing out the actuator off the windshield for the hard top. I have it removed and hanging down by the hydraulic lines and I am wondering what the best way to remove those line are as it appears to be crimped. I am sending it out to have it rebuilt and was wondering if I am going to need to buy a tool to reinstall it or is there away to separate the lines without replacing the ends? OR do i need to remove them from the pump and send the whole thing out for the rebuild?
