And with this comment....it says it all....

I think [the time] where AMG just stands for exclusivity, that time has really passed. That is long, long, long ago.

If there is no exclusivity with the brand what's the point of even buying an 'AMG' any longer and paying the extra cash for the 'exclusivity' ...just as well buy a regular run of the mill MB in which ever model floats your boat, or MB just as well throw an AMG badge on everything with 4 wheels that rolls off the factory floor.

But if he doesn't want exclusivity as part of his ideology why have an 'exclusive' forum called AMG Private Lounge?...after all it 'excludes' non AMG owners so therefore doesn't it makes it 'exclusive'?.........I think they have lost the plot:surprise:

Wonder if Ferrari, Aston Martin and others with an 'exclusive' brand have the same mind set?
