There are several aftermarket trim options (mostly in the US). You don't have to go with either wood or carbon, there's aluminium and plastic covers. I have carbon which is nice but having seen the picture you have I think I'd go for something fresher again.
I was looking at this '55 as a possible purchase; but, the more I look, the more hesitant I become. The CarFax shows a recent left rear collision. I'd be willing to bet that the red interior accents were done when the rear was being repainted. The accident might also explain that non-OEM-looking spoiler.
At this point, I haven't made a trip to the dealership. Worth a look.... or move on ?
find another. warm fuzzies should be paid attention to
but it does not hurt to look. leave your wallet at home
they will ask for your license for a test drive but will really be doing a credit check with it
