Although the story emanates from the BBC UK, this is a worldwide issue.

How do they adjust the risk for driverless cars?

Will they be more, or less expensive to insure?
If the tech companies are to be believed then they are safer, a much lower risk of causing/being involved in an accident.

BUT...because of the expensive tech involved an accident may mean a bigger pay out. Regardless of fault/risk.

My trouble is if I ever got one of those (which I'd say is slim to none -- and slim just left town) is I'd be constantly over-riding the "driver": C'mon lets get this show on the road :wink:
