Illuminated Sills (UK)

Hi, has anyone have these Sills?
I know Windristrictor do them but they are around £60 more including Shipping to the UK.
They have a flush fit to Metal/Acrylic.

Might I suggest that you also try forum member and moderator Curro101 (aka Craige). He's a Brit living in Spain that does excellent custom work at competitive prices. Illuminated Sills are just one of the items that he has made for several people on this board. He can put whatever you want on them.....i.e. Mercedes Benz, SLK, AMG......here's what he made for me. Give him a shout to see how is schedule is. :)

hi godfarther ,

did you buy a set for a 172? i ask because back around june/july time last year
i bought some from that seller via ebay , the first set did not fit and i returned them and also the second set did not fit either and was also returned , the seller was fine to deal with and paid for return postage and refunded the money right away , he though that maybe the factory mislabled the boxes ???

i am still wanting a set with out having to deal with the extra hassle of customs charges /vat /handling chargees etc when buying from the USA

If the photo in the eBay link is of the actual item for the r171, it doesn't look like it would fit too well either, the ends seem too straight and pointed, not rounded like the OEM sills....
