I purchased a 2005 slk200 12 months ago. I have noticed that it is running a little high when idle (1000rpm). I think the issue is with the idle air control valve, does anyone know where it’s located and what it looks like?

Idle speed is regulated by the ECU based on several input parameters, i.e. engine temp, drive position engaged, etc.

No separate idle control valve, all is done by the throttle valve actuator.
