OK I'm really p!ssed with myself.

I'm on my way to a meeting in one of our other buildings across town. It's nice today so the car is out and the top is down. Some Three Dog Night cranked.

I'm pulling in to the approach of out lot and all of a sudden a guy is pulling out.

It's pretty close so instead of braking I turn a little sharper.

Well it was sharp enough to rub the curb. I've got a very nice nick in the factory rim.

Gezzzz. I'm an idiot.

Mind you, this is a good excuse to upgrade rims and rubber!

I had a scrape (maybe 3") on my rear AMG rim. Dealer sent it off to be repaired. Cost me $100 - including a rebalance - and you cannot tell it was there unless you look REALLY close. Might be an option for you as well. Unless of course you really did this on purpose so you could get new wheels and rubber :biglaugh:

There is a guy here in South Florida who will fix them for $200 for 2 rims. I had an appointment for him to fix 2 right side rims curbed when avoiding a jerk in an Escalade on Monday.

That Sunday, hit head on by the guy driving on the wrong side of the road and that was then begining of the end for my 1,315 mile 2005 SLK350.
