I recently bought a used 2001 SLK 320. Both the electrical seat adjustments don't work as well as the button to retract the convertible hard-top. I checked the fuses and they are ok. Is there a "control unit" that control all/most interior electrical functions? Hard to imagine that both seat motors broke as well as the electrical for the hard-top. I really need help because car not passing inspection secondary to seats not adjustable. Thanks

You might want to post an introduction in the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section, if you haven’t already.

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:

If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
In addition, if you haven’t, please post your question in the appropriate discussion forum for a quicker response and only once. Be patient and a knowledgeable member or guest will address your question.

Welcome from New Hampshire. The hard top issue could be any number of limit switches located through out the car. If i can find a chart showing where they are that may help some.
