Hello all I finally made it last week to becoming the proud owner of a
2007 Mercedes SLK55 AMG.
So far I in Total awe of the automobile! In love
The 1 thing I have noticed I need is a wind screen for when the top is down so any input will be more than welcome.

Hi Mike, and welcome to SLKWorld.com from the UK Midlands - Thanks for joining us! :)

I have one of the WindRestrictor wind screens fitted to my R171...

I made the mistake of ordering it without any etching, and then regretted it so added an etched effect AMG sticker to it instead...

Hi Mike, welcome from Barrhead, Scotland.

I also fitted a Windrestrictor windscreen. Mine is etched and illuminated. A great mod! Great people to deal with, and I'd definitely recommend them. :tu:

Dave's (@dbgrn ) photos show it off well.

Welcome from the Sacramento Valley SLK Enthusiasts!

I got mine from the dealer its glass and easy to look through in the mirror. SLK site sponsor has some cool individual ones too and you can customize them. I hate the black meshy thing MB gives you, looks like **** and you can't see through them,

You mean the black "panty hose" mesh fabric rear wind draught stop.
