This is a very comprehensive listing and goes right back to the early 90's for some Mercedes.
EXAMPLE -
"Mercedes Benz 320 S 1991 1998 3199 170 ABS, AT, AC "All models of this series have a radio-preparation pre-installed by the manufacturer with the speed pulse at the radio connector.
Location: Driver's footwell at center console. There are 3 connectors. The back one with 6 pins carries the signal." Green/black.":grin:
