when i really needed a car wash, i just got myself a wet towel to wipe off the dust

anyway, my winter break started and i got all my tools to wash/wax my car

good thing slk is a small lil roadster, iono how people wax cars like hummer or gigantic sedans

Nice, black cars needs a lot of care. My iridium silver is due for a wax but it still shines and there are no visible scratch marks so I always postponed it for a later date.

It will scratch and swirl. Not a good idea.

Great finish BTW.

I have been asked many times how I keep my rides (two of which are black) so clean. In Southern Arizona the rainy season is July through September. The rest of the year is pretty dry so I too use the California Duster. I start the car and let the engine oil circulate and take a minute or soto dust the car and the wheels. When the sidewalls of the tires start looking funky it is time for a real bath.
