If you are having the rear windows tinted do be aware that access is difficult and, if you have heated seats, the fitters must not kneel on them or the elements are very likely to be damaged.
Good Point (y)
AutoGlass took the rear screen out of "The Blue One" and the guy had a helluvva job on his hands even with all of his fancy kit 🙃 Fortunately, that one.. Poverty Spec ;)

Hi Guys.
Status right now.
New lambdas has arrived and I will pick them up tomorrow after work.
I have compared the MB number and the Bosch number in 4 different ways so it should be right this time, So let´s see what is in the box I pick up tomorrow.
I did get a refund of the previus one´s and that was rather easy this time, I didn´t get faulty parts, I got the wrong parts because the company had made a mistake in their comparison between MB and Bosch parts. So It was not my fault this time that I had the wrong parts. But they didn´t cause any problems with the car since they where never installed, They only delayed me.

But with the ECU I have made mistakes before so I will do it some other way this time.
I have focused on @Deplore and @Dave2302 suggestions from post #149 - #153 and go from there.
But I´m not doing any resoldering or soldering by myself, So I´m sending both ECU´s to a car electronic expert tomorrow who has the skills and right equipment to do the job.

If that works then I have to read up on this "Will be best to do the Throttle Body Adaptation and reset Mixture Adaptation tho"

And with my luck.. I made The Siren roadlegal last week, She has a valid MOT, I paid the taxes, changed the insurance, She was ready to go and I was only waiting for the last snow and ice to disappear from the roads, Today we have -9 degrees Celsius and we got 20 cm of snow today.

Stay safe and take care

Todays update..
Both my ECU´s are sent away today and I feel that I can trust this guy.
I wrote a long message to him asking about what kind of information he need´s , Should I send pictures of what Eprom that I wanted swapped?
He´s answer was, "I know this so just send them to me with your contact-informatin and address so I can send them back when the work is done."
That sounds good.

And when I sent the parcel away after work today I picked up my parcel with lambdas, And they are the correct ones this time.
But since we got more snow since yesterday I can´t get into my garage, My driveway has now about 40 cm of snow and the wind have made it to a 90 cm high snow-wall against my garagedoor
Hopefully that is gone when my ECU returns in a couple of days.
If she starts up then I will have some more reading to do, and maybe some questions about "Throttle Body Adaptation and reset Mixture Adaptation"

Stya safe and take care

I think that I was a little bit to early making The Siren roadlegal last week.
The roads was nice in the afternoons and almost free from the morning frost.
But in 2 days now we got 70 cm of snow, or about 27,5 inches, and it is still snowing.

And inside the garage, that don´t have insulation or heating is Sleepy waiting for me to get her ready for the MOT in 3,5 weeks.

Things is not looking that promising at the moment that I will make it.

But Stay safe and take care.

As usual I had a bad week.
Showel all that snow was not good for my already injured left shoulder, Remaining problems since the fire where I got muscle and nerv damage.
Then I hurt my left leg at work, But I need to get Sleepy done so I have tryed to work with her but ended up with me hurting my left elbow and after that I hit my finger on my left hand very badly.
So, My left shoulder, left elbow, left hand and left leg is not as they should be at the moment.

But my worst problem is that I can´t get the right lamda off.I have tryed several times and now it´s all round and none of my tools can get a grip of it.
Left side was no problem, it was stuck but it came lose rather easilly.
My working conditions are not the best and I miss a lot of tools.

Any ideas about what I should try to get that darn lambda out..

Have you tried a heat gun and a pipe wrench or a sheet metal clamp?

No heat or a pipe wrench and with 25 cm between the car and the floor it´s not that easy to work under the car.
I have tryid sheet metal clamp but it did not work.

Any other suggestions?

If this doesn't get a grip on the lambda, then you need to get the pipe out of the car.

You have to love a mole wrench
I had to look up what a mole wrench was, and that is what I tryed with the last couple of days, but not as nice as the one @Swedish Steven posted.
All my tools disappeared 2021 so I borowed one from work and since we only work with brand new cars we don´t have great tools to remove bolts and nuts that haven´t been removed in 23 years.

But I will continue working with this and if I don´t get the darn lambda of, then the right front part of the exhaustsystem is comming off.

Thanks for you reply.

Try jacking up the car -safely - as much as possible and use the Swedish equivalent of Stilsons Stilson Pipe Wrenches Use a jerking movement rather than a steady pull.A Mole wrench or similar will deform the sensor out of round and make it more difficult to unscrew.
I have thought about that, But I only have 1-1,5" gap between the hood/bonnet to the garagedoor as it is right now when the door is open.
So I think that I have to try to get the exhaust out and work with it at work.

And my ECU´s is on it´s way back to me. So this weekend will be fun and interessting.

I got my ECU´s back today and a visual check of the soldering looks that it´s really professionally done.
But I´m still working on to get the exhaust of the car on the right front side so that I have a better possibility to get that darn lambda out, I would like to use others words but then admin will probably slap me.
I got 3 out of 6 bolts losened, The 2 at the back I have give up hope on but those should be easy to drill out and replace, So it is only the one left between the exhaust and manifold that I´m struggling with but I think that I can borrow (or buy) better tools tomorrow.

Stay safe and take care
