Note I am using Mercedes SLK Forum (Full) referred to as 'Red View'

Mercedes SLK Forum (Classic) referred to as 'Blue view' is slightly different.
I'll prepare a version for the blue view in the future in posts 3 and 4.

Other 'How To' threads: https://www.slkworld.com/forum-operations-help-center/536527-links-how-threads.html

How to change view https://www.slkworld.com/new-members-introduce-yourself-here/244418-try-blue-view-you-might-keep.html

Go to https://www.slkworld.com/new-members-introduce-yourself-here/

Select 'post new thread'

Enter a title and then write your introduction.
(Note - Only use the forum smilies on the right as mobile phones appear as '@£%$!')

Review what you have written.
You will not be able to edit until you have 15 posts.

* If you wish to add photos see post 2 and add them at this point.

Scroll down and select 'submit new thread'

Your introduction will appear thus:

* Adding photos to your introduction.

There are several ways to add photos. I am only demonstrating one method here.

Please avoid adding photos from hosting sites.
Photobucket no longer allows this and will not show.
Others may follow suit one day.
This method shows how to add photos from your pc.

Scroll down and select 'preview post'

Scroll down again until you see 'manage attachments' and select.

A new window opens.

Select 'browse' and locate the photo you require on your pc.
Select 'upload'
I suggest that you do not add more than two at a time before selecting 'upload'
This can result in a 'token expired' warning and it not being uploaded.
This can also happen if the file is too big.
See https://www.slkworld.com/payments.php for your memory allowances.
Free membership has limits (10MB), Paid membership have unlimited.

When you have completed your selection and uploaded them select 'close this window'

At the bottom of your post select 'submit new thread'.

Your post should appear with attached photo, like this.

So, you have written your post as per the beginning of post 3 and now wish to add a photo.

There are several ways to add photos. I am only demonstrating one method here.

Scroll down to find 'additional options'
Inside there is a 'manage attachments' button, select this.

A new window opens.

You will need to extend the right hand side in order to see all of the buttons needed.
Hover the mouse over the side, click and hold, then drag the side until it looks like this.

Select 'browse' and locate the photo you require on your pc.
Select 'upload'
I suggest that you do not add more than two at a time before selecting 'upload'
