Looking for an SLK 250. I'll apologies in advance for this question, as I feel I ought to be able to find this with Google. However all I've found is information on the "A" part.
From MB website - "The A Service first visit is at approximately 10,000 miles or 1 year. The exact time is determined by the vehicle's Flexible Service System. Then it is approximately every 20,000 miles or 2 years. This is for model year 2009 and newer."
So far so good. I figured the number should be consecutive, A1 = first service, A2 second service, etc. This would make A9 the service for 140,000 miles, or 17 years, whichever comes first. Is this correct or is the numbering system something completely different? The reason I ask is a car I'm looking at has a message saying the a9 service is coming due, but the odometer reading is much lower than 140,000.
