Going back around 4 years ago, I started looking for an R171 55 amg - I was amazed to see how scarce they were at the time (Only around 3/4 for sale, averaging from £15,000 to £20,000+) and was begining to wonder if I would ever be able to get one of these amazing cars, within my budget? In fact I was never able to get the exact car I wanted (Mileage/colour/color/extras) and after about 3 months of searching settled for the car I now own, which I have grown to enjoy...

I often look at 55's for sale on Ebay and Autotrader and over the last couple of weeks have noticed the high volume of R171 55's for sale at very competitive prices. I was just wondering if this is a sign that: 'The end is nigh' for this wonderful car and owner's are selling in rediness for the 'electric vehicle takeover?' (Etc)

Well, my baby isn't going anywhere soon - I just hope that future petrol suppliers (Along with prices) won't be manipulating combustion engine owners into going electric sooner than we think?

Anyway, just thought I'd mention this 'buyers market at the moment.'
