Hi Folks,

Im Glenn from Sunny Scotland, Ive my own Mobile Car Valeting Business now for Last 28 years, Valeted anything from a wee banger to a Bugatti Veyron over my many years.

Treated myself in November 2017 to a Diamond Black SLK280 with 65,000 and a full service history. light tan Leather interior, also in good condition and much to my surprise no wear on side of drivers seat :)

Car is in good condition overall for its age,,, only 2 faults im aware of are a couple of very small paint blisters just above each front wing and either side of rear window the finish is a bit dull, but not something a polish will sort.

Ive arranged car to get front wing blisters sorted at coachworks.

As i do a bit of vehicle graphic work. Im going to try and use gloss black vinyl down either side of rear window, as i think this will be an answer to the poor finish there just now. I will post pictures of rear window when ive finshed it.

I refurbished all wheels when i purchased car, i had them powered coated and put 4 new Falken tyres on.

Replaced rear number plate lights with leds and purchased off Ebay 2 door lights that reflect mercedes logo onto ground when doors are open.

Sorry i broke site protocol, i posted a thread before introducing myself, but i do hope you found the installation of a Dynavin N7 helpfull.

Look forward to using this site and its SLK knowledge.

Thanks for having me

Hi Glenn, and welcome to from the UK Midlands - Thanks for joining us and posting an intro! :)

We have quite a few members in the UK that like to meet up from time to time. If you're interested in joining us sometime, just keep an eye on the UK Region section, as we post meeting plans there!

There is a summary post that I maintain for our UK meets here. Links to examples and pictures from last year's meets are available here. We're a friendly group, and always happy to welcome new members at any of our meets.

We're also plotting where our UK members are - check out the thread for that here: SLKWorld UK & Ireland Members and Meeting Points Map - Please let me know if you'd like to be added to the map. :tu:
