Quit running at 70mph with low fuel light on. Filled up, won't start or run, except for a extremely brief moment. Can't hear pump or relay. Hoping it's the fuel pump relay. Don't know where located. Any help would be appreciated. Don't know if it's the same location or relay as the SLK 350 etc. Mine is the V8 5.5 ci engine. Thank you for reading. -Eddie-馃槉

Update:
I found the fuse box under the hood, and on the left end of dash. There was a paper in the dash fuse box. It shows the location of the third fuse box on the left, drivers side in "the boot". Still can't find that one. Now I'm having to disassemble trunk linings. Not a simple task. -Eddie-馃槉

Hi Eddie, welcome from Barrhead, Scotland. 馃槃
Thank you. Thank you all for your kind welcome. I'm still learning this forum and want to thank each individually, but having a bit of struggle doing that.

I have so enjoyed my little SLK "rascal", and can't wait to get it back into service. I'm a mechanic, electrician, AC tech, and bla bla. I knew going in that these fine machines would be a learning curve for me, but isn't everything?

I'm counting on you guys for your vast experience. I've searched for archives on the 2006 SLK 55 fuel relay and fuel pump, but info is so far non existent or not applicable. I suspect that's due to the limited production. Simple things such as exact location of the relay fuse block, best practice disassembly to get to it, same for the fuel pump, just aren't out there or at least not yet found.

I'll get there, but it's looking like I'm as always, on my own to forge ahead which means I will be doing it the hard way, much unnecessary disassembly etc. I know you all know what I'm talking about. -Eddie-馃槉
