Hey,

So i've not yet purchased one of these myself, but tonight could be the night!

I bought one for a friend of mine and absolutely loved it. Then along comes a nice, well priced one and i've thrown caution to the wind and possibly taking it home tonight. Nice condition 1998 SLK 230

I'm based in Bucks/Herts in the UK!

Look forward to meeting you all.

Peace

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! It's nice to see people from everywhere on here!

So i bought myself a 1997 Silver SLK230 for £500 last night! 106k on it but no service history.

The heater fan isn't working, and the coolant fan wasn't kicking in. Now i think i've found the fuse for the coolant fan, which i should be able to replace tonight and see if that fixes the one issue.
The heater fan i've done on my mates already and is an easy fix.

There are afew other things i need to look at on it, but so far, so good!

One question... I have what looks like a little USB stick on my keys. Fits into a slot in the drivers footwell. Any idea's what this coud be?
