After a year or so of lurking, I finally ran into something I haven't quite been able to figure out with the MAF mod...
My car is a '99 slk230 kompressor, and
I am replacing the original plastic intake pipe with an aluminum one and upgrading the factory hump connectors and clamps to some newer/nicer ones as well as relocating the MAF up top, however, I am not sure how folks are attaching the new pipes to the spot the MAF used to connect to as it clips on rather than attaches with a hump connector and clamp...
I'd rather not cut any of the stock parts up in case it needs to go back to original, but I can certainly get a used or new part to sacrifice if needed, so for the folks that have done this... how do I do it?!
I appreciate any help folks can offer!

Welcome to SLKWorld.com: The #1 Mercedes-Benz SLK Forum from Florida!

First please update your location and vehicle (Put Looking!)(year?: 1996-2018, model?: 32, 43, 200, 230, 250, 280, 300,320,350,55) in your profile as it helps the members answer your questions which usually are based on that information if you haven’t. This takes about 30 seconds to do.
Follow exactly to update: ‘Usercp’ at the top of page, then ‘edit your details’ on the left side, ‘additional information’ near the bottom, edit your ‘location’ and ‘vehicle’. Info in your garage does not update your profile.
