Hello SLKWorld Community!

Glad to join this community. It seems to be extremely helpful.
My wife and I purchased a silver 2005 SLK350 about a year or so ago.
Love it. It's a 3rd car - since we still have young kids - for fun sunny weekend, and although it's 10 years old, it almost looks brand new
My Head unit (with GPS, COMAND / MOST system) just died the other day though, so I'm embarking on a fun after market replacement project, since spending the $6,000 that the Mercedes dealership quoted me for a replacement unit is out of question.
More on that project in my next post.
