Howdy! I'm obviously new to the SLK world. I'm posting on behalf of my better half since she will be the owner of the new SLK 300 I picked up from the factory on 3 Nov. I'm in the US Air Force stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. :usa:

I'm looking forward to some good crosstell of information to make our new 'baby' a real looker & runner. I'm trying to get enough miles racked up so I can put the pedal-to-the-metal to see what this honey can do compared to my '09 Challenger. R)

Welcome to the forum.

Unless your Challeneger is the SE version I don't think the SLK300 will be able to compete. The SLK350 might be able to catch up with the R/T because it is 1000lbs lighter.

Only the SLK55 would be able to challenge the SRT-8.

All above is for a drag race. On a track with curves the SLK will kick the Challenger ass. :bannana:

Welcome from Blighty.... :)

I could be wrong, but I reckon the SLK will be much more agile than the Challenger.
