Hi Guys,

Having previously owned a Smartcar Roadster and Mercedes A class(many years ago), and only recently bought my SLK(2 days ago), one could say that I'm pretty new to the concept of having a Mercedes.

I look forward to learning from you all, as well as one day contributing to other newbies who are looking to develop and learn!

So far, I'm enjoying my SLK, and understand why there are so many of us in the world!

Many thanks,

Richard

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.

Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.

Hello and welcome from SW France...:smile::smile:

I see you are in London... ummm... how's the traffic???

I had to drive through London once (years and years ago) ... got lost due to roadworks and deviations... saw a few famous landmarks on the way. (some more than once...) the traffic was horrendous.

Decided to follow a bus which thankfully turned into a bus station after a short while. No idea where I actually was and feeling pretty close to tears. Everyone there was extremely kind and helpful and they gave me clearcut directions to get me to my destination...phew...never again !:wink::wink:

Haha, Glad you had a good experience with British people; was this an SLK you were in by any chance? -:)

Sadly no.. just my little Suzuki in those days... greatest problem was not being able to find somewhere to stop and ask for help... too much traffic and everything going much too fast . That's why I followed the bus. (I had checked my route on the map prior to setting out... but the diversions etc threw my plans into chaos.)

Having watched and enjoyed On the Buses on TV... I was certain of finding a helpful person at the bus station...0:)0:)0:)
