Hello from Florida

Hello,

I owned a 2001 SLK230 for 4-5 years but ended up trading it in 2005. I put almost 100K miles on it.

It's 2016 now and I'm looking to pick up a used SLK for around $20K, which currently has me looking at 2008-2010 models in that price range. SLKs that are few years newer and CPO are running an extra $15K right now where I live. I am not sure if that is worth the premium.

If you have any tips on buying a SLK specifically in this year range, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit nervous buying a used SLK with no warranty as I recall some really pricey repairs with my 2001 both in and out of the factory warranty.

Thanks

Bill
