Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
If you wish to become PM (Private Message) capable, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM.
Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.

Thanks all.... looking forward to joining in as and when I can. @Windinmyhair .... I see you frequent Burford garden centre.... I pass it on my way to work looking after the big grey birds .... not always in the 350 though, my 2 wheeled Triumph sometimes wins the day
Some even bigger grey birds and a few black ones about just now - must be autumn visitors:wink:

Thanks for the warm welcome and advice on using the forums, it’s good news for a troglodyte like me!

I’m surprised you could see the small black bird, it was in Stealth mode.
I was trying to find something witty to say about the B52’s but I have failed miserably.....

Welcome from Northampton, in your neck of the woods on Sunday for the German car day at Bibury. Love the Cotswolds.

Have fun

John
Hi John,

Would love to join you in Bibury but I’m on holiday in the Canary Islands at the moment. The SLK is parked so please, no one take the wheels off it unless you want to change the discs and pads for me.... it’s a job I have got waiting for me when I get back!
I have bought brembo because I know they make good stuff for the bikes and on a car with this performance I think it’s a good idea to be able to stop! Here’s hoping I made the right choice!

Welcome from the edge of the Cotswolds.......Gloucester uk
If the big black birds were in stealth mode they did a poor job of hiding as they flew over my house the other day.
Has the Buff gone home now?
I also see dragons there quite often.
Why not come along to the AV8 cafe at Kemble airfield on Sunday morning for the local south west meet?
Just use the search box at the top of the page and type in ‘south west meet’ then put your name on the list.
Hope to see you there.

Thanks, I will definitely be there.... Might be in a couple of weeks time due to existing commitments but I look forward to meeting you all

Will be good to have you there
If you can’t make this Sunday then You’ll need to keep an eye out on the forum as the meets are once every 2 months:wink:

Sad as it is, I definitely won’t be there this Sunday as I am cycling in Lanzarote!
Not home until a week on Sunday but really looking forward to a catch up with like minded souls... I will have my new brakes on by then too.

The SLK wasn’t quite an impulse buy (I also have an MX5 but there was a significant ‘failure to agree’ about who should be driving it in summer) and I love the 350 but it surprised me how little diy servicing information is out there. Will be good to catch up
