Would love to join you in Bibury but I’m on holiday in the Canary Islands at the moment. The SLK is parked so please, no one take the wheels off it unless you want to change the discs and pads for me.... it’s a job I have got waiting for me when I get back!
I have bought brembo because I know they make good stuff for the bikes and on a car with this performance I think it’s a good idea to be able to stop! Here’s hoping I made the right choice!

Has the Buff gone home now?
I also see dragons there quite often.
Why not come along to the AV8 cafe at Kemble airfield on Sunday morning for the local south west meet?
Just use the search box at the top of the page and type in ‘south west meet’ then put your name on the list.

Sad as it is, I definitely won’t be there this Sunday as I am cycling in Lanzarote!
Not home until a week on Sunday but really looking forward to a catch up with like minded souls... I will have my new brakes on by then too.

The SLK wasn’t quite an impulse buy (I also have an MX5 but there was a significant ‘failure to agree’ about who should be driving it in summer) and I love the 350 but it surprised me how little diy servicing information is out there. Will be good to catch up
