Hi all, I’m Simona based in Edinburgh and I’m a proud owner of a R170 2000 SLK 230 Kompressor with AMG styling.

I bought my obsidian baby back in 2019 and can’t bear to part with her, despite the leaks, glitchy central locking and rusty arches. The information and knowledge on this site has given me the ability and confidence to do minor repairs myself so I thought it was high time I signed up and said hi and thank you.

My biggest success recently was clearing the drains, which were blocked solid, probably for the last 20 years judging by the amount of dirt that came out. I’ll remember that day fondly forever 😆
