I have Ventus V12s in the rear and run at 35 psi on 17 inchers. It has worn to just above 5mm uniformly at about 3800 miles.

High or expected?

My Goodyears lasted only about 8000 miles, looks like Hankooks are not any better. My driving style is sporty but not rash.

Is this your daily driver, or are just about all the miles you put on it "recreational"? I run the Hankooks and they last me about 10K miles. I'm on my second set now. Most of my mileage is on the highway. When I'm not on local streets I generally drive pretty - uhm - "spirited".

Mine is a daily drive and recreational summer use. Thanks for the info for comparison. Perhaps 35 PSI is a bit low for this tyre.

I had a pair of Hankook Ventus V12 on the rear (OEM 18") and inflated at 35 psi per MB recommendations. They lasted 8500 miles (daily driver) as opposed to Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics that lasted 14000 miles with the same driving style/habit.
