Hi everyone!

My name is Eugene. Originally I'm from Ukraine, but live in constant travel mode. I call this 'traveliving lifestyle'. Just going wherever my eyes lead me, meeting new people, making some projects and then packing a suitcase and go wherever... I'm working in the field of Visual Arts Industry. Making movies, TV commercials, digital art, multimedia installations and producing different kind of visual art projects.

Almost all of my life I thought that most of all I love crossovers and SUV's. So it was until a friend of mine gifted me his Mercedes SLK as a sign of gratitude for the help.
Since the SLK appeared in my life, the amount of unnecessary stuff in the trunk has decreased and the amount of pleasure from traveling has increased proportionally. At the moment I have lived and traveled in 27 countries by my old 1998 SLK R170. And I can say that this is the best period of my life for now. I have not made any unnecessary modifications to the car except replacement of stock audio system but it's still one of my favorite cars.

Mileage almost 300,000 km. I made about 80,000. No major damage or problems. Sometimes the roof does not open the first time. But I think replacing the fluid in the hydraulic system will solve the problem, I just haven't had time to do it.

Hello again, my dear SLK lovers from all around the globe!

Recently I was faced with the difficult choice. My old friend SLK200 1998 still working like a clockwork, but I am always searching for new sensations, so what car I should buy next? I decided that definitely it will be convertible. So I started searching. After three months of endless surfing of web vastness I realized that this is nothing else than latest SLK. Just because there is no better hardtop cabrio in the entire world market, as I understood while tried to find something equal. But to tell you the truth, it was surprised me, but not a bit disappoint at all.

I spent few weeks more to find right what I am looking for and finally found it in the origin of MB — East Germany. R172 SLK 350 AMG in awesome condition, with full options and dark central console instead of classic silver. The guys from Auto Salon Altan where I found the car, met me at airport, booked a hotel and showed appreciated hospitality. I lived almost week in a small town alongside with the family that owns this autosalon and it still comes as a little shock when I'm confronted with the depth of kindness that exists in this world, especially when it comes to business. I won't go into the details, I just say that they serviced car before selling like I couldn’t even expected. Right after buying I threw my backpack into the trunk, buried my foot into where the carpet used to be and unleashed all 306 wild horses on German autobahns. I'm not even sure there are words to describe that feeling. Thanks God for the weather and my luck, I had a chance to enjoy roofless driving through 11 countries including France, Italy, Switzerland and many more countries that have been quarantined right after I passed their territory.

Now I am chilling fourth week at home and it seems I’ll go crazy soon from waiting to enjoy the spring inside new cabrio.

In the nearest plans:
  1. find new superlightweight 19” wheels for summer
  2. install panamericana grill
  3. wrap car body to satin polyurethane ppf
  4. maybe change exhaust system to get several more horsepowers and more enjoyable sound
  5. ?
I suppose I'll be seeing a lot more of you from now on :)
