Hi! I have had an SLK 200 k 2001 model for 7 years. Recently several things have complicated my relationship with the car. Rust, PSE unit failed, overheating, oil leakage etc. However, I dont want to end the relation just because my baby is getting old and sick. So I have started an overhaul project to prolong the life of my beloved. At the moment I am serching the Internet and this forum for the side Skirt Moulding Clips, and hoped to get som information on where to purchase the item. Please let me know if you have some information. Cheers (skål).

Regards Kongeskog

Welcome to SLKWorld.com: The #1 Mercedes-Benz SLK Forum from Florida!

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
If you wish to become PM (Private Message) capable or to ‘edit’, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM/edit. You can always pm a moderator.
Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.
FREE!! Post your vin in the Vehicle Datacard Request section to get a free datacard (options on your car). You must update your profile with vehicle info and your location and post an introduction first.

Thank you. Nice wheels :)
I presume that was directed towards @Avel Du... If you want to make it clear who you're replying to, please use the "Quote" button instead of "Quick Reply". This will quote the person who you're replying to, making it much clearer to understand who your comment was for. :tu:

Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed the trip. Next time i will advice you to drive the coast road. It is quite expensive, but the scenery and roads are simply spectacular.

Greetings from Athens Greece
What a coincidence! Just some posts ago I mentioned Norway and the SLK I drove while I was living there.
I totally understand the situation with the car as mine also suffered from the climate.
I hope that the weather is still sunny so you can enjoy the rides for a little bit longer.
So, is Bergen full of Teslas and i3's or not yet?
I am sure that an SLK will still be a head turner as it was when I was there ages ago.

Hi, Athens! I have been several times in your beautiful city and sun. I stayed in Glyfada, and still remember your intersting stripclub on top of the shopping center ;) Well, it is an old car, and the climate is taking its toll. With a little care i am sure it will have many happy miles left. Electric vehicles are very popular due to tax reductions. In precentage of population it is probably of the highest in the world

Greetings from Washougal, Washington! I visited your country a few years ago, what an amazing drive from Oslo to Bergen and back. I had so wished my rental Toyota Yaris was an SLK on those roads :D

Welcome!
