22:30 tonight and the 4x4 alarm kicks off.

In the following 20 mins it goes off 3 more time.

I was thinking maybe it has a separate battery for the alarm which has died &
I'd have to disconnect the car battery(new) in the hope of a quiet night.
Not sure that would work, but an option to try.

Then I remembered something from years back.

Thieves used to repeatedly set alarms off to get owners disabling them.
Only for the thieves to return in the wee hours and nick the car.

So I sat outside with a drink and my smokes and watched for 20 mins.
No alarm.

Come back inside and open the front curtains and watch until now, almost 2 hours later.
No alarm.

Either scumbags are at large, or a ghost in the machine is watching me, watching it.
Would be quite a coincidence though.
4 alarms in 20 mins then no alarms whilst watched for 2 hours.:frown:

Any mischievous chaps, rug rats, ankle biters or crumb snatchers running amock in your neighborhood?

A word of advice, if you answer the door and there's a mysterious flaming bag sitting there, don't stomp on it.

Well, you'd better watch your six!

Police have just cruised the sac. Disappeared before I could get to them though.

We get occasional van patrols but never a car.

Now I'm sure my hunch was right.
