Evening all,

When I purchased my race recently, the seller also gave me an 18" AMG alloy, he said that he had a fear that if he ever kerbed his alloy, he'd have a spare one ready to get diamond cut and put on the vehicle.

Now, as much as I share his enthusiasm, I don't share his fear :) So I'm going to stick the alloy on eBay for sale, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how to tell if the alloy is genuine or not?

I've attached some pictures for reference, maybe that helps?

TIA.

Not having the Mercedes sign stamped on the rear as well , i'd normally say not , but the Mercedes reference A2............ would imply it is original .
If you'd say the seat where the bolt sits is rounded rather the conical it would suggest original !?

Thats an SL (R230) rim

More spokes than the standard AMG V as fitted to the SLK

I'd say it was genuine ...
