Hello Everyone,
I recently switched to an aftermarket H/U and have some of the COMAND parts that I would like to sell.

The installer gave me these items back, and are for sale: I am hoping to sell everything in one shot, looking for a couple hundred dollars, but will look at Best Offer plus shipping from Essex, NY:

Items:
1.)COMAND head unit from 2005 SLK350
A 171 820 30 89 001
Unit was working when removed, volume was a little finicky, if you went to fast it did not always register. Overall: Fair condition
2.) AMP
3.) GPS Drive from trunk (I think I have a CD somewhere,it might be in it...)
4.) 6 Disk CD changer from Glove Box

Please purchase at your own risk, I do not know if any of this can be retrofitted. Also no wiring is included. Other than a couple adapters attached to the components. Also, if I can locate it, a B/T puck that went in the center console.

Thanks,
Clayton

What aftermarket solution did you go with?
I went with a Pioneer 930BT, cheap ebay backup camera and the axxess steering wheel harness. Overall I am 90% happy with it.

Cons: I like the 930BT, but it is not as 'flashy' as I would like. One thing that I really dislike about it is the lack of 'backgrounds'. Not really any 'pictures'. Just a black background and it looks kind of plan. I would not go with the axxess steering wheel harness.

Pros: Syncs to my cell phones so I can listen to pandora over a2dp, backup camera works great, good sound without the need for an external amplifier, or switching the stock speakers.
